Working From Home
To some the idea of working from home is a highly appealing one. They imagine not having to get up so early and driving to work whilst battling through traffic in the dark, wet conditions of Monday mornings. They also picture working through the day without the stress of a strict boss overlooking them and dictating their every move. But that is not to say that working from home is without its own quirks and well, work. It requires a lot of determination and will power to get the work done and if you are self employed there is also that issue of tax to consider.
Other things to consider include whether or not working at home is for you. Some people find it lonely, especially if they enjoyed the social aspect of say working in an office. Others might have a lot to juggle at home and if they are working at home because of children, it might affect the amount of work they are able to complete, both because of distractions and because of space. These considerations should always be taken into account. However if these can be overcome one might find working at home a fulfilling experience that helps you gain an alternative to driving in the rain to work every day.
